Itinerary of Kathmandu Pokhara Tours

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival

You will arrive in Kathmandu with newfound optimism and enthusiasm on this day. You will meet our tour representative when you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. After you have all your bags in the car, our tour guide will drive you to your hotel. You’ll spend today relaxing at the hotel and enjoying a little evening stroll to discover the surroundings.

Day 2: Kathmandu Full-Day Sightseeing

The sunrise and the lovely breakfast set an atmosphere for the day. Pashupatinath, one of the most significant and massive temples for Hindus worldwide, will be our first visit. The main temple’s center features several sculptures of gods and goddesses that symbolize Hinduism’s illustrious heritage. Following a slight detour north, we will be greeted by the majesty of Bouddhnath, where we will circle the great two-eyed stupa while spinning the prayer wheels and marveling at the prayer flags.

The pigeons around here frequently cover the whole stupa, and Buddhists from around Asia come here to worship. Our next visit will be to Swayambhunath, where we will marvel at the stunning architecture and ambiance. The temple is also known as the “Monkey Temple,” It draws tourists from all over the world, primarily from different religious backgrounds. Significant components of it are the giant statue within the temple and the golden pinnacle that shines over the roof. Continuing, the Kathmandu Durbar Square’s beauty astounds us with its ancient vintage architecture, where we will visit its surroundings and admire the artistic side of this architecture. We will then return to our hotel in the evening and stay the night.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive

After waking up in a homely setting early in the morning, we will head to the bus station to board the luxurious bus to Pokhara. The journey will last around 5 hours and lead us north, traversing the Muglin’s meandering road. The scenery will be breathtaking, with lush hills, rivers, and settlements, proceeding through the Prithivi Highway. As we approach the Pokhara entryway, the snowy Himalayas to the north gradually start to come into view. Pokhara will be the location for the night, with a fantastic atmosphere to experience.

Day 4: Full-Day Pokhara Sightseeing

The day begins with a fresh morning perspective, a new setting, and a spectacular viewpoint. After breakfast, we’ll continue north to Sarangkot, observing the glorious sunrise from the valleys. From Sarangkot, we can see the Annapurna, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri in the north and the spectacular view of Pokhara in the south. On our way back, we’ll also stop at the splendid Bindhabasini Temple to explore and soak in its splendor. After we return to the south, we will visit the Tal Barahi temple amid Phewa Lake through spectacular boating.

As we make our way down the lake, we will stop at the beautiful Gupteshwor cave, where we will see lovely bats and the impressive Gupteshwor temple. The following excursion will be a short trek to the Tibetan Refugee Camp, where we will get an incredible view of the Himalayas, valleys, and lush hills to the north. Returning, the pristine roadway and the atmosphere of Pokhara add to the refreshment; our overnight will be in Pokhara.

Day 5: Drive Back to Kathmandu and Evening time free for shopping

We’ll get up early and proceed to Pokhara’s bus terminal. Boarding the luxury bus, we will return to the south, passing through the lush hills and winding road of the Prithvi Highway. A final glance of Manaslu and Dhaulagiri to the north is a possible witness, and the window view will be spectacular for the entire bus journey. The buzzing city of Kathmandu meets us after a five to a six-hour bus ride. In the evening, you will go shopping, where you may buy beautiful art, handicrafts, and essential items to take back to your country. A three-star hotel in Kathmandu will be the accommodation for the night.

Day 6: Departure

This day marks the conclusion of the delightful Kathmandu Pokhara tour. You will return home with vivid memories and experiences exploring these magnificent Nepalese cities. About 2 to 3 hours before your flight, our tour representative will transport you to the airport. After a brief stay at the airport, you will depart for your next destination.
